(such as Colossus with hockey and the annoying statue exorcising shit with the professor) Both Spyro 2 and 3 aren't perfect though, I usually start losing interest in Spyro 2 around halfway through Autumn Plains and very quickly after reaching Midnight Mountain in Spyro 3. I think I also have a soft spot for cool architecture which Spyro 2 lacks a lot, and the levels that do have it are tainted by other bad souvenirs. Some of the levels have a decent amount of style, but it's nothing compared to Spyro 3 best content (Seashell Shore, Sunny Villa, Icy Peak, Firework Factory, Charmed Ridge). Spyro 2 also had a ton of boring mini-games and gimmicks such as in Idol Spring, Colossus, Aquaria Towers, etc. I have more nostalgia for 3 to a certain extent, but I still believe a lot of its levels are far beyond Spyro 2 in terms of style, and flow much better. The level design just seems that much more solid and consistent, 2's level design is like a clusterfuck and a mess in comparison. Spyro 3 is just way more memorable in a lot of respects, in spite of some lame parts.
